Most bows have slightly more space between string and upper limb than between string and lower limb. 1/8”-3/4” not that noticeable but more evident in shorter bows. Picture? How long is it?

If you see it when unstrung, could be a problem. Could be less curved limb is delaminating...

A lot of bows from that period had markedly positive or "breasted" tiller. It is very obvious in that model, due to the longer riser. They shoot great;-)

That "breasted" tiller is really noticeable in the Cub semi curves too. Woodshavings what year did bear stop doing the Breasted tiller? Do you think that is something they should bring back? The original 59er Kodiak Special is a very sweet shooter.

Here’s my 64 inch 59 Kodiak special strung from the side. Does your seem to have significantly more breasting than mine on the upper limb?

Kind of hard to tell in this pic I guess. I wasn’t directly over the bow so it gives a slightly distorted perspective… I have a minute now so maybe I’ll take a picture again more centered.

Here is a better pic perhaps. I measured the tiller at the fade-out and there is a 3/8ths” positive tiller (wider gap) in the upper limb than in the lower limb. That is a fairly average tiller for split finger shooterlike myself.

Looks perfect to me as far as manufactured bows go. 3/8" is about where most were as a positive tiller. I can see rabbits sitting at thirty yards but can't see much breasting on that bow. Looks good.

Like my '59 KS about 8 1/4. It's a 64-incher too.

That is probably fairly easily fixable murph but I am about to fall asleep so I will tell you as I sip my coffee in the morning!
Also, that 9 1/2 inch braceheight is likely a fair amount too high. Mine is somewhere around 8 inches like babbling Bob was suggesting. I’ll string mine up again after coffee in the morning And let you know what it is. Every bow and every archer are a little different but my guess is it’s going to be closer to eight.

BTW, Breasting is because the middle of the bow is the throat of the grip but we pull the string ABOVE the grip throat/level with the arrow rest so the upper limb needs to have lower tension so that pressure from the string on the nock is even. If that makes any sense... :-)

Tape off around the split with blue low res masking tape. Pour super thin super glue such as Loctite 420 or Starbond high-performance superglue M – 02 (this is the stuff that I use because it’s a lot cheaper than 420 and excellent). Put the glue in, let it cure and then repeat. If it has not come up flush with the surface of the finish then add some gel superglue. Repeat with the gel until it is a little more than flush with the surface. Give the gel 24 hours to fully cure and shrink between applications. Then use 400 grit paper to gently sand smooth with the existing finish. Be careful not to remove much existing finish. Then Sand with 2,000 grit. Then polish with, first car rubbing compound, then car polish and VOILA!

Of course you could do parts of these things and it would be just fine. Maybe only use the super thin superglue. Or use just regular superglue or even just the gel and travel into the crack depending on how big it is.
I would probably not clamp it though because It may be under some tension and you may get another de- lamination and one of the other glue lines if you do.

Looks like I’ve got mine at just about 8 inches. I haven’t done much fine-tuning with this boat yet though and it may actually be for 8 1/4 inches like babbling Bob says four maybe even less.
