Today's shot will be the Twister. Pace off 20 yards and face away-ish from your target. Twist your body at the torso so you are aligned to make the shot, and let her fly. Be safe and God bless.

Big John

Morning. 28*degrees here, it's chilly.

The dreaded twister at 20 yards.

I agree Frank, the dreaded twister. I can't get behind the arrow to get my form, so I just sling it down there and hope for the best.

Bow Yew that I made.

Arrow I miss identified the arrow yesterday it is a Douglas Fir not a POC.

Good morning all! Shot as called with my Freeman; 66” and 53# at my draw. Using a Sitks Spruce arrow today that I made last winter. Thanks for the call and I hope you all have a nice day. 30* and clear here! Lance

Thanks for the call, Big John. The Dreaded Twister is always a good way to limber up the spine first thing in the morning, especially on these COLD mornings. I grabbed a bow I that cherish and dont shoot much , a 62" Indian custom made by Buddy Watson in the early 60's that has Thai pheasantwood slabs on the riser, maple I beam and sight window , flawless turquoise green glass on back and belly and overlays of maple and ivory-colored "Toxolite" on the riser and tips. A show-pony! I used a MicroFlite 6 arrow and the shredding remains of my weekend "Archery Poker" target.

Stay warm and stay safe...looking at 15-20" of the white stuff here over the weekend.

Scott, the form we use to shoot doesn't conform to well to the twister...LOL! I was tempted to shoot three and see if I got any better, but I knew I wouldn't.

Good shooting everyone.

Shot as called with my 51# Yellowstone Hunter. To far to the left. :^( I haven't been practicing much lately. It shows. And it's getting harder to twist as I get older. :^/ Nice Call! I'll have to practice this shot more.

Well Ron I’ll say it’s not as fluid and there’s and extra step in my Sequence But I’m still feeling that pinched nerve I did no long ago

I should have stated too that I missed my POA by at least 4” to the left. Nice shooting indeed. Lance

Yes Scott, I couldn't twist back like I did a few months ago.

Lance that is what I thought, but these twisters are harder to do each day, I think my wife puts too much starch in my socks....LOL!!

The only one that is similar to yours. That doesn't happen often, duplicating a Longbow :-) JF
