Hey, I'm thinking about picking up a 19" ILF riser. I have been shooting a 17" riser with medium and long limbs and they have both worked well. I would like to keep my bow at 60" though and would have to use short limbs with a 19" riser to achieve that. At 28" will it stack badly or should I be ok? I'm relatively new to ILF, but like the system. Thanks for the input.

Yes it’s going to stack a little but you’ll get some speed. I’d go with medium limbs. I’m shooting mediums on a 19 inch riser for hunting and I draw just a touch under 28. A 62 inch bow is as short as I like to go even though my draw length would allow me to go shorter.

Mediums work for me at close to that. I didn't like the shorts I had, but that might have been a bit-too-much-poundage issue.

Any particular reason for wanting to stay at 60"?

I am shooting 17 inch riser with short limbs. That makes the bow 58 inches long. With 38 lb. limbs on this bow it is 44 lbs. I can adjust to 40 lbs. It pulls stiff ,and it stacks even at 27 draw inches.I woudn,t go shorter than 62 inches if I had a choice.Try the mediums you already have.

Mediums work well for me at 29 with a 17 inch riser with a lot of preload. Shorts are where I run into some issues, but if I wasn't using a clicker I think those would be manageable for the blind, too. I'd go with mediums for any riser with draw lengths like yours.

Longs. Just two inches longer on each end. Over the counter limbs will be smoother and have a better string angle.

ca-- I believe you meant one inch longer on each limb.

Go for medium. You will be happy
