Im sitting in my treestand and my neighbor sends a picture of this guy in my front yard

Now that's funny. Just goes to show you just how smart those old bucks are.

From: Silverback

LOL I'm speechless.

From: Barber

I love it !!!! LOL

Ha!! That’s great!

I've got neighborhood deer here too, every other house has a tripod feeder in the backyard it seems like. When you walk out back they walk up to see if you are going to throw them something to eat. I walk past them to get to my truck to go hunt.

Not smart, just horny. I had one today in my front yard at high noon. Swollen neck, sniffing the air, and oblivious to everything else. You know, just a "regular guy"!

And I had to head back to work..... :-(

More than once I've come out of the woods and found deer standing within 50 feet of my truck.

From: Buzz

Nice one.

Thanks for the pic.

From: Knifeguy

He probably went and found where you parked, checked the license plate and knew you weren’t home so he knew he was safe on your lawn! Lance

From: dallsheepstkr
Date: 15-Nov-18

He heard you were looking for him so he went to your house.

From: olddogrib
Date: 15-Nov-18

Look on the bright side....he probably bred all those "pet" does that have been eating your shrubbery while you were gone, so the genetics got a boost around your neck of the woods!

LOL. High fence hunt, nice job on brushing in the blind. I usually have that happen on a Sunday.

From: Jimmy Blackmon

That is classic. Back in about 1989 I went on a bear, buck, boar hunt. I planned to camp alone in a popup camper. My wife decided to go along and keep the fire stoked while I hunted. I hunted for four days straight. I never saw a deer while hunting. Every single day deer walked through camp within 30 yards of my wife. I'd come back with my head down and she'd tell me deer stories.

Thanks for the display of irony we can all appreciate. Only possible because we, as a society, hunt for sport and not subsistence. We follow the rules, they have none, to speak of in this case.

From: Supernaut

I'd say he's go you patterned lol

From: TrapperKayak

That's how hunting is. I walk out the door, stray far from home in search, and return to find most of the fresh sight within a few hundred yards of home. In fact, a few years ago, on TG morning, The biggest buck I ever shot in NY was right behind the house, less that 300 yds out through the brush in the open lot. Yesterday, big tracks in snow from feeding buck, right in the same spot. :)

lOOKS LIKE ONE OF MY ANIMALS IF I DIDN'T KNOW BETTER.

From: Wayne Hess

Yes that happens here also, The deer patterns us also.

Ugghhh..Jimmy B. Coulda been worse. You might have come back to seeing one in camp on the ground as your wife filed her nails and her broadhead!

Just had the same thing happen, pulled in my driveway and there was a nice 6 point with his nose checking a doe. I wish I could hunt the neighborhood. LOL

From: Caddo
Date: 15-Nov-18

My wife does that crap to me all the time! Come home from hunting, did you see anything? No. Oh, look what was in the side yard today! it's a conspiracy I tell ya!

dnovo, it that were here on this road, someone would have stopped and shot it already. That happened a couple years ago about a mile down the road. Some nut job stopped and shot a huge buck right off someone's lawn between two houses then tried to retrieve it... WTH??? Busted though. Stuuuuupidddooo...
