All Clays videos are first class. With all the garbage videos out there Clays are a breath of fresh air.

Nice video, fun to watch. Reminds me of why I moved west in the first place. It is just not as 'easy' to hunt whitetails here. It is supremely more difficult that it seems here. It's good to see the comraderie. Miss that.

I think I've watched most of Clay's videos, but this particular series he's upped his game a few notches.
Capturing the essence of the hunt without it coming out like you're videoing taping everything and stitching stuff back together is a lot of work and not easy to do this well, requires a certain creative skill that few have. The video and sound quality is as good as any I've seen. His in the field commentary comes across very naturally and unrehearsed, his post process over dubs are well stated and meaningful to hunters and non-hunters alike.
This is as close to a professional documentary as I've seen in the trad realm. An honest depiction of modern stick and string bow hunting with friends the way we experience it and they way it should be conveyed to the general public. No one here is pretending to be cave men, no starting camp fires with a stick and other silly bush crafting nonsense. They roll up in their new trucks and assorted gear and enjoy the woods and challenges of hunting with a stick bow together.

I see his videos are full of advertisements now. Awhile back he had something up where people could donate money to him, I guess for filming. Wonder if I could quit my full time job and my part time job and set up a "go fund me" page or something so I can hunt and fish all the time instead? LoL.

I haven't watched any YouTube in awhile. When I first started this endeavor, that's has become a passion and addiction I watched Clay. I like his videos. I like the way he represents what we do and promotes this type of hunting. His descriptions of the challenges and rewards of hunting this way are the closest I've heard from anyone to relaying how I feel about these hunts. He probably has know idea, but he's a big reason for me sticking with this long enough to enjoy some of those rewards and conquer many of those challenges. I have spoken with him on the phone in the past. He seemed like a really down to earth guy. I might not have ever finished my first selfbow without that conversation. I to enjoy the hunt without the caveman theme. Nothing against any cavemen or women out there, it's just not what draws me to this path. I haven't watched any YouTube for quite some time, but when I get a chance I'm going to watch this. I doubt I'll be disappointed.

I subscribe to Clay Hayes's site so I get his videos. His videos and articles are always good and for the most part help keep my spirit renewed. No booyahs and fist beating just huntin and camps.

I have youtube tv on Roku so I can search and find some of the traditional videos on the tele. Clay's videos are very good, and there are a few more once you sift through them. Yesterday though I was watching a 50's series of Sir Galahad. A little hokey yes, but still fun to watch them...along with all the old Robin Hood series and movies.

I have watched quite a few of his videos and he does a real good job. One of the best parts is not just the archery part but he involves his family as well. Pretty savvy young man and he loves what he does and what we do.
