I am absolutely convinced that one day I will find "THE BOW". You know the one, the perfect fit, the perfect everything. Honestly, I hope I never find it. The search is so much fun. But after years of searching, shooting different bows and just a few dollars, I thought maybe it was me, not the bow, and I owed it to myself get my form checked out.

Today I had the distinct pleasure of a personal lesson with Mr. Tom Clum at his shop, RMS Gear in Denver, Colorado.

What a blast. Tom is a great guy and his hands on coaching was incredibly helpful. I've learned so much from watching Arnie Moe, Jimmy Blackmon, Rod Jenkins as well as the new productions from The Push Archery. But, there's only so much I can learn from videos. I needed someone to physically show me what back tension is, low shoulder placement and a solid anchor. I thought I knew, but I really didn't.

I'm not selling anything, just passing along a fun and helpful experience. I love this stuff!

Guys don't believe it, but proper form means repeatable accuracy. Glad you are doing good!

I just bought a bow from Tom and the guys a couple of weeks ago; always a fine group to deal with. I think I've gotten four from them so far...

Way to go Thomas. Many folks today think it's okay not to be able to shoot well past twenty yards, but there is a growing contingency that is interested in getting better, and are not buying into the hunter versus target BS. Good job...stay with it.

Just solidifies that proper form is more important than the equipment. Youre fortunate to be able to spend time w Mr. Clum.

Kinda like winning the golden ticket to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Thanks for all the kind words. I seek progress not perfection. We have a great community, iron sharpens iron.
