These potted plant holders are great for holding bows. Pictured is a 69" longbow that is 2-3" off the ground.

This is a great tip.
Looks like they would be perfect to use in ground blinds/pop ups also. Ground permitting of course.
I'm gonna have to pick up one or two.
Thanks !
Rick

I just steal them from the wife and give the old "I don't know what the hell you did with them" comment.

Awesome idea! On a similar note: Does anyone that hunts out of a tree stand use a bow holder and if so any tricks or tips? I use a bow holder when I'm in the tree, the kind that folds in on itself and screws into the tree and this is my first year hunting with a trad bow. My issue is with my recurve the hook gets pinched between the string and the upper limb making it a 2 handed job getting it off the hook, not ideal in hunting situations. I normally hold my bow the first hour of light and the hour before dark but those darn deer show up when you least expect them. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

Supernaut..i never hold my bow in hand in a tree or even a ground blindif i can help it. I use a bit of light rope or paracord and tie it around a convenient branch within easy arms reach leavind enough hanging to tie a figure 8 knot in as close to the branch as possible, hang the bow with the knot end passed between the limb tip and the string. This way you only have to slowly lift your bow a few inches. If i am sitting in aground blind next to a tree trunk i pass the rope arond it doing the same thing. Quiet ,easy and cheap..works for me. Sandy

We have so many trees and branches where I live, and that thing won't fit in my fanny pack anyway. ;) I do hang my bird feeders from them. I keep my bow in my hands anyway when in the woods, or simply lean it against a tree. Whatever works though and it's cool to see folks actually using the left brain these days.
