First time I ever got this on a trail cam. It sure proves that the largest bucks aren't doing all the breeding.

Dude, deer live in the woods. So do squirrels and groundhogs, no selective breeding and the same is true with humanity!>>>>>------- ------------->sammo

Cool but Sam is correct. Deer aren't elk so no harems and studies have shown that all age class bucks breed. Hell, studies have shown that some does with multiple fawns have different fathers.

Now that's X rated....

Sorry Bruce I misread your post..you're correct, largest bucks aren't doing all the breeding.

The BUCK does have a decent rack. Maybe by next year even better?

4nolz is correct. If the doe isn’t ready she just steps forward.

haha I had a small buck come by tonight mouth open drooling over a doe in front of her...it was too dark for me to get a spot picked on him tho so he got the pass...its definitely "getting it on"

hockey7, that is quite common with cattle. When the heifers start bulling it is time to make a decision about exposing to the bull or putting the one going into heat where the bull can't get to her.

Friend of mine was showing me a video of deer breeding that he had dug up. It was more of a joke but sure is not a lot of foreplay involved LMAO.

Cool shot JusPassin, its pretty rare to get to see that in real time or trail cam

That buck is proof a wise old doe can be "taken" from the ground...he has been presented with a severe quartering away shot.

I had a small spike chasing a doe run right behind me yesterday.
