Big news off the top of my hill. Survivor spotted! I looked out my back window this morning and caught the sun shining on something big and brown, Yup, it was a buck! Put the binos on him and noticed a doe laying down near him. Just the two of them with the whole woods to themselves. As far as I can tell, they are the only, or at least the very few, that survived the EHD outbreak. I was hoping there was a decent buck to start the next herd. His rack is good, not spectacular, but he looks to be very healthy and probably weighs 180-200. I also noticed he has a tine broken off. Maybe there's another! Jim

I hope he makes it? I would leave the doe alone too to have his offspring. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>------------------>SAMMO

That photo was taken with cell phone through the binocular. First time for that trick!

I've tried that cell phone binocular trick before, nothing even came close to that pic. Nice one.
