I just finished replacing rods in my T-2 that's been sitting in the garage for a few years. When I tried to set it up I realized I am out of practice as it wore me out. I'd pull on one hub and the blind would just follow me around without popping it was probably funny to watch.

Next time I will tie one hub to a tree and pop the other, then the one tied to a tree.

Anybody have a better idea? I love this blind.

I'm sure I've amused a few people over the years trying to set up my DB. Have you tried YouTube?

T2 is the easiest blind to setup ever! While standing inside facing the screen, angle one of the sidewalls downwards so the "legs" are pressed against the ground. That way when you push the hub out, it'll stay in position. The rods will flex a bit, but that's normal. Do the same for the other side. I love my T2 - so light and quiet to setup. I only can shoot 60" and shorter bows out of it though.

I’m not sure about Double Bull,....but most blinds require you to first anchor the blind down on at least the four corners. Then with the door un-zipped, go into the blind and pop the roof up first, then push each side out in sequence around as you go. Lloyd

What stick said, I have and love my original T2 in predator camo. Push the legs down to the ground on one side and push out on the hub then repeat on the other side. A year or two back I had a hub break and Primos honored the warranty. They sent me a replacement hub that is metal and much better than the orignial hubs.

No but you should try this in the dark. I had to put a hub blind back together last year in the dark in the morning half asleep with my buddy's girlfriend.

My buddy set a blind for me and said its at his aunts house we will go there in the morning. ok we go there his girl friend took me into where it was because he wanted to hunt in a climber about 400 yards from me .

Didn't I trip on a snag and fell right into blind. Knocked it down and broke a rod. So now in the dark have to put the blind back together and she had to help me up. What a cluster with this hub blind. I don't even know the make it was. I didn't get hurt and we had time in dark with flash light. She didn't know how to fix it so I had to fix it. Bow got nicked and was I ticked off at myself and him for not cutting brush around blind properly.

Last thing I said to him is cut the brush around the blind and lay it on the blind. This was an all day sit also at least she carried my heavy chair in so all I had to do was carry bow and my pack and try not to fall and put an arrow through myself.

I shot a big doe out of in to get my buck tag that morning. The buck was there from the camera when we got there and we scared off stand blind when I fell into it and crashed it. Found this out when he brought lunch to me and help me find the doe that went into swampy area. It was only 40 yards in I thought I herd it fall but wasn't sure. I went and got the arrow as soon as I shot I knew it was going to be good.

I feel hub blinds are junk. I only have 3 of them and 2 double bulls.

I bought one at a trad shoot for 150.00 it works great, like said before, lay it out, I push one hub out, and than the other, with no issues.......

on the original DB's unlike the T2, the trick was to first push the center pole up, and then the sides.... wish I still had mine, some maggot stole it, it was a BS-5.... to take it down, simply pull the center pole down first, than the sides, and the last side, as it than can be flipped over your back and it comes together, to pack...... I used mine for years with no issues

also you should be able to find something on You Tube

Jim and I can assure you Double Bull from Keith Beam, and his partner, was not junk. great blind, strong hubs and great fabric........ all hand sewn,,,,,,,,

I have no idea of what it is like now, since it was sold to Primos, but I know Keith personally, he did not design or build junk

I agree with ground hunter. I have an original T-2 blind I bought back in the early 90's. It still works as good today as it did when I got it. Excellent blind. I also bought a Dark Horse blind from Primos several years ago and it too is an excellent blind. Would not hesitate to buy another if I need to.

Jim, I don't agree, they're expensive junk.

I bought the Dark Horse when they 1st came out, great blind once you got it set up but it never seemed to want to go up the same way every time, one time really easy next time would end uo wrestling it around on the ground for 20 minutes.

Bowmania you should clarify your post.... with all due respect, the original DBs were not junk, so to post that is irresponsible,,,,, if you are referring to Primos please state that ...........................

Pretty easy to say something is junk. I'd be interested to know why you guys think they're junk.

I've got two of them and think they're great; easy to erect, durable material, a lot of windows with mesh and they're very dark inside to keep from getting caught, etc., etc. Kilt lots of critters from mine.

I don't even know how long I've had my T2 but with the exception of the severe storm that broke a couple of rods it has been great! Primos sells a 2 hub model that is NOT the same as the T2, I don't know how that one is cause I don't have one.
