I thought it was a great riser, shot very quiet, really regret getting rid of mine. I keep an eye out for another but there aren't many out there to be had.

I have one but i thought it was called a Black Max? Anyhow it is black phenolic and Ilf. I put a set of SF carbon foam limbs on it and it is quick and quiet. Sandy

The Black Magic is a well-built, attractive and heavy 17" riser. It's a shame they discontinued it. They're very hard to find on used market for a reason. :^)
There's a new riser available now in a 19" model. It's called the White Feather Lark. Looks really sturdy with eye appeal too.

I have one, its a great riser, but my wife took it from me and now she loves it. Cant understand why they quit making them.

Me either. I really liked the Black Magic and Black Onyx more than the current Tridents, though to be fair I've never actually had a trident, just based on the eye test.
