I have one, and all of a sudden having a little trouble with it. As it is the weekend, I can't just call the company so I hope someone can answer what I believe is a simple problem: My arrows are suddenly loose and when I look at the hood and the block of foam that is inside of it and holds the arrow knock end, it is up above the hard plastic case that is the foundation structure that the pack hangs over. Is the foam supposed to be INSIDE of the plastic box OR is it supposed to be snugged up and rest on the top of the plastic box?

Thanks

the cloth over it must of streched some can epoxy a small square of plywood over the top or add more foam? Best I can guess from what I can remember of them; been a long time since I had one

foam suposed to be in the box

Foam should be inside of box for sure.

The foam does push up with use. It took many years for mine to push above the top of the plastic shell. I ordered new foam from Rancho Safari but it’s possible to just reposition the old foam.

Better yet...

Just load a dry pair of socks or some survival gear in under the fabric to take up the space in there. Space blanket, matches, fire-starter, first aid, etc.

Or you can always just shorten the frame a little....

Is the frame adjustable? Just shorten it.

Take a piece of wood, cut it to fit inside the top of the plastic hood where the foam goes, drill a few small holes for screws, put screws thru the plastic into the wood, put foam piece underneath the wood, then viola! No more foam pushing up too far.

Quiver length is adjusted to arrow length, so shortening frame won’t make any difference. It would actually cause the arrows to push up harder on the foam inside the plastic hood.

thanks all. I got my answer and now I can get it back on line for this afternoon's outing.
