1958 Howatt Diablo. One sweet bow.

I'm using the Paul Bunyan bow my dad got in 1957, this year. I can shoot it pretty well, but it's not a pleasant bow to shoot. The grips on our more modern bows are much more ergonomic. Hoping to shoot a deer with it this year and retire the bow. Dad has never harvested anything with it. I'm sure he'd be as happy as me if I do.

Nice to see all these great bows being used and enjoyed and not hanging around gathering dust. Thanks for all who posted.

The '53 K-4 went with me this morning, the deer out-smarted us this time though.

I'll do some hunting with this 59/60 Shakespeare RH200. I haven't bloodied this one yet so no kill pics to show off. This was an $84 pawn shop find and is in need of a refinish that she'll get after this season but a great shooter. Longbow quiet with plenty of zip for a 50#er.
