What kind of target do you practice on when using stone points. Foam, hay sand?

I've shot them into foam with no problem but only to see that they're flying right. I mount my stone heads and do the spin test to make sure there is no wobble in the arrow. If they spin true they usually fly true. I'm no expert but stone heads are pretty light. I use 100 gr. Field points and they seem to shoot the same.

Either that white crumbly styrofoam, or, old couch cushion foam. Shoot them no more than you must.

I made a "special" arrow for a friend. The arrow was made from an arrowhead found on his ranch along with fletching from turkeys I have taken on his ranch. In my mind it was a hall hanger. Well, within 5 minutes of gifting he was shooting the arrow no less than 50 times in my 3D target... The arrowheads are way tougher than I had imagined.
