Made some guitar picks for a gal who makes ear rings out of them. I made them out of front shoulder blades from deer shot last year. I am sure they would be too brittle to play a guitar but I had thoughts of soaking one in mineral to soften it up. Trouble is I don't play a guitar, lol.

You could offer them for sale. Take your pick! See what I did there? They look nice!

Might work in a pinch but after a while the strings would eat them up. Especially if you get too aggressive. Cool looking though.

Nice work, I have some made from Mammoth Tusk with scrap left the from making pistol grips.

Jon, you should make some bone broadheads also. They would be really unique even if you didn't use them.

I visited with a vendor at the Flintridge knap in, Ohio, who had some jewelry. She had guitar pick ear rings and I told her I would make her some out of deer bone. I really don't like to mess with bone/dust so this will probably be it. I made enough for her to keep her busy. If she sends me a photo of the ear rings I will post a photo.

Those are awesome (coming from a jewelry designer). I’m in the process of making some antler earrings (lots of bone dust). Haven’t tried using the shoulder for anything. Have also used the antler sections and tips for necklaces, earrings and keychains.

Nice work Belle and Monkey. Kind of neat to use other parts of animals taken.

Pieces like that would make good arrow plates.

Teardrop them out more and spoon them. Make blades for trout spinners.
