A coworker hooked me up with some black walnut. So being in need of a bow rack I made one. Took a hell of alot longer than I thought but it was fun.

Great workmanship. I admire people who have artistic talent, since I have none. Lol

Curved material is flexstone. Very thin slate with fiberglass backing.

Looks great Carter! What kind of finish did you use?

From: carter
Date: 05-Sep-18

Thanks Shag, after trying Shellac, poly and true oil I went with epoxy bar top resin. After all the sanding and experimenting with finish I'm surprised I had any wood left.

Capped the top and bottom with walnut. I was amazed by the grain structure it would be a pretty riser
