I'm going to be looking for a tape on quiver for my '56 Kodiak. Am I remembering correctly that there were two different lengths made? I'm thinkin' the smaller size would be the best fit.

I believe there is only one length tape-on bear quiver..

the double spring arm quivers came in two different lengths, maybe that's what you are thinking about

I have a tape on set up on my 57 Kodiak. Love it! It’s the bow in the bottom of this photo. Lance

Looks like it works well on the '57, I've tried a couple strap ons but with the small riser the '56 has the tape is going to be the way to go. Should have kept the one I had years ago.

If you add about 1/8" foam pad to the brackets you can then use "O" rings to mount. You will need 8 "O" rings about 1"-1 1/4" diam. slid 4 of them onto each limb and over the quiver brackets. Then just roll the rings off to remove the quiver leaving the rings on the bow. UV light does affect the rings so they may need replacing depending on how much time they spend in the sun.

They are one of my favorites! Getting hard to find in good shape.

I have a leather top tape-on quiver. I want to put it in a Tigercat but the bottom bracket seems to get into the way of the grip. I've tried moving it up and down but can't seem to find the sweet spot.

Any ideas or pics to help out?

Thanks,

Chad

Yes Chad, sell it to me, take the money and get a spring arm quiver which will work just fine on the Tigercat.

Kidding Chad, what I found is that after '60-'61 the tape on quivers don't seem to work as well, spring arm quivers come in two sizes and some are adjustable and will work fine on the Tigercat, you could probably find a trade for one.

The brackets on the tape-on can be bent if need be.

Thanks guys. My Tigercat is a ‘69. And I mis-typed, it is a green quiver. Im sure I will find a bow to out it in.
