My Bear T/D will develop a creaking in the top limb during the draw. There is a thin adhesive backed leather that folds around the bracket where it contacts the limb.. It will work it's way out just a enough to make noise.. Putting it back will silence it. I would like to replace it with a new one.

Does anyone know if these can be purchased from Bear Archery??

A little contact cement on the leather piece will hold it in place just fine.

I got some leather you can use. Copy the shape with a piece of paper then cut it to shape then use some contact cement.

Replace it with Velcro

Chris -

The leather isn't really necessary, and you can do any of the things suggested, or nothing at all.

The creaking sound is usually from the screw locator pin or the limbs ends. "Grease" those areas with bow string wax and you should be fine.

Viper out.

What Viper said. The creaking is coming from the socket.

Try little string wax to see if that helps.

A layer of blue painters tape on the limb butt where it makes contact with the socket. When you install the limb you never see it.
