I acquired these 2020 Easton XX75 Autumn Orange arrows this weekend. Appear new. I hunted with Autumn Orange back in the 70's, 2016 not 2020. Are these still considered good arrows? I'm guessing the 2020 size will be 50#-55# and are a heavy, hard-hitting arrow with good penetration but not blistering speed.

At static spine they will be closer to 60-65 spine for a 29" arrow. Why would they not be good arrows? Just curious, they are the same alloy as any other size in XX75 material...just thicker walled and more mass. Heavier moves slower at any given weight than a lighter arrow, but it's all relative to what you want them for.

In my opinion, they are not only good, they are my favorite. I need 2117s though. Don’t usually shoot arrows as heavy as 2020, but a lot of guys like them.

Nice find! You better believe those are good shafts! I'd ~love~ to find a dozen NOS in 1816 or 1916!

2020's are great arrows. They are tough, and versatile. You did well.

My favorite aluminum arrows,I have them in 2016,2018,2020 and 2117.The 2020 with a 145 gr. point will give you a 600 grain arrow, works great in my 65# Hill.

2020's spine AMO 77#@28", at 29" about 5-7# lighter.

I have them in 2117s and 2018s I love em!

2020’s were,y first real hunting arrow. Not sure how aluminums are spined but the old charts said 55-60#. I used them from my 55#@28 Bear SK and my 64#@28 LB. Still have about 21 AO left. They are not a long range arrow, drop starts at 20 yards.

They were my favorite arrow for a bunch of years when I shot heavier bow weights. That pic brings back a lot of good memories.

That is a nice find.

I just picked up some Legacy 2020's for my 65-70# bows with 165 grain heads...they'll be a tough arrow.

And Autumn Orange are excellent shafts...I have a bunch of them.

I think I remember their spine was .424 for a 2020 according to the charts.

Great find. 2020s are a great hunting arrows. Good luck with them. Autumn orange was always my favorite.

Methinks 2117s are almost the same spine but are lighter in weight. I shoot 2117s and 2020s and pretty much get the same flight out of my 60 and 65# recurves.

my go to arrow for 60# recurves......... 2117s a tad stiffer and +/- 40gr lighter........ have about 8 dz shafts hoarded......

I bought up a bunch of 2020 legacy’s before they were dropped I’d like to find some autumn orange ones. I’ve tested spine on 2020 at 77 lb and 2117 at 81 so they are closely spined

I love the autumn orange. Came across two dozen on eBay that were perfect for my longbow. Jumped on em! I see they offer the axis in autumn orange now which is pretty cool!

Those are great arrows for hunting, small diameter and good weight. I bought 2 dz of the AO's a couple of years ago from a guy on this forum. I shoot them out of a 58# @ 30" Bighorn recurve, cut to 31" with 150gr heads and they pack a real wallop.

I will take them off your hands if you don’t want them!

I will take any 1916, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2114, 2115 in autum orange.

I just got a dozen 1916's free, from 2 different guys, I like them arrows

I like the looks of the autum orange shafts better the legacys. I think they are easier to find when I miss.

If I had those arrows, I'd be inclined to buy a bow just to shoot them. They would spine way too weak for virtually any bow I own, however, if I owned a Howard Hill style longbow, they'd be just about right..... I love the autumn orange, I was hunting with old autumn orange arrows just this weekend. They must be defective arrows though, because I missed a shot at a spike elk one day and missed a BIG 4x4 muley the next day... couldn't have been me....

Easton says 2020's are .426 deflection. 2018's are .464, and 2117 are .400. Divide 28 (for aluminum and carbon) by the deflection and you get 65.73lb for 2020, 60.34lb for 2018, and 70.00lb for a 2117. Adjust for + or - 28"
