Well as expected, pics are down again. I shot a set of spruce shafts I finished last night. 4 shots at 15 yrds, 2 inch group in the center. Really wanted to post it too.

Posting a pic won't work. Sooo,I guess you all will have to believe me. Or not. :^) 18 yrds through a wide obstruction at a turkey with its head in a hole of a tree. A tad low from where I wanted. But i'll take it.

Not a good day for the 1st shot. :-( 17 yrds sitting on a stool with 1/4 away turkey. 1st shot went over the turkey. 2nd hit the tree. 3rd hit low on the turkey. I guess that's what I get for shooting at a roosted turkey. :^)

Shot 5 at 15 today. Bodnik Super Slick Stick and assorted arrows . Gotta move back to 20 and get ready for the Labor Day challenge. Not that I'll be a threat;-).

Good shooting , gang! I recently became the guardian of a one-off Indian made by/for Buddy Watson, one of those bows that deserves special care. It has been well-protected by a couple other LW'ers before me. I caught the last of the shooting light tonight and shot two at the right golf tee, two at the left, from 22 yards.

I brought out my Ben Pearson 304 @50# T/D for my shot today. Just a simple 20yd broadside and I managed to get it in there. The arrow is a POC by Suzanne St Charles. See ya tomorrow! Have a pleasant evening! Lance
