For those of y’all who have or have had a Great Northern Super Ghost what brace hight did you have your bow set up with. Just sent my money out today for one so hopefully next week I will be the proud owner of one and was just wondering were to start the brace around ? I was looking for a Ghost but was offered the Super Ghost by someone and it was the all green model. I’m a sucker for green glass on a bow so I had to have it . LOL any other info on this bow would be appreciated as well.

I've owned 2 Ghosts and 1 Super Ghost. They are one of the best '50s style bows currently made, imho. Keep in mind that they are light in the hand compared to other style recurves. Feels more like carrying a longbow. The limb design is aggressive. Unstrung, the tips rest around 2" forward of the shelf. Interestingly, if you hold an unstrung Ghost up to an unstrung '57 Kodiak of the same length, you will see that geometry is nearly identical. Not sure if Jerry purposely built the form to mimic the '57, but boy it works!

My super ghost shoots best at 7 1/4". I've had it for almost 10 years now and absolutely love it! Hope you enjoy yours just as much!!!
