How do you guys remove these small pre inserted points for 1820 Genesis arrows?

There's a bit of a collar on the tip itself that you can grip with pliers or a vise. Heat the shaft right behind the tip and pull it out.

Great! Thank you! I bought 24 of these for 24$ at wallyworld. These are going to make some nice arrows.

They are one of my favorites of all. They spine 53lbs. and I shoot them from recurves that are just at or past center as well as longbows in draw weights from 45'ish to 55lbs.

Yes Sir the target points should be put in with hot melt. Good find. Sometimes they have them sometimes they don't. The wall thickness makes them a pretty tough arrow.>>>----> ken

Use carbon express .234 inserts, problem solved.

Ya, they make a 400 grain arrow easily.

12.25 grains per inch is an ample mass ratio. A 29" 1820 with an insert and a 125 grain tip is heading on 520 grains with a 20 gr. bushing and counting about 20 grains for feathers, nock and glue.

A small lip to grab but if you heat them enough, the expanding air inside will pop them out just enough to get a better hold. Good shafts...NASP tough. Sack

Which pin nocks, replacement nocks are you all using? Factory G are pretty darn tight..

Brad, i used carbon express .234 pin nock adapters and bohning blazer pin nocks. I also used the cx#4 inserts, as they fit better than the advertised 1820 inserts.
