It's a Pearson for sure, and maybe a Palomino. I'll check in my mess.

1958 was the first year for the Palomino...it was 66" only and had a leather wrapped grip. 1959 they made all three sizes...62, 66, and 69 inch, still had leather wrap handle...green glass.

1960...had green glass on belly, red glass on back...both parallel and transverse lamination in the riser. No leather grip.

1961...had white limbs, and a lamination on belly of riser. Still three sizes..models 970, 971 and 973.

1962..63..had white limbs, and overlays on belly of riser. Dropped 69" and went to 68", 66" and 62".

1964/65..model numbers changed to 722 and 724...68" and 66". White glass, and 64 was first year for riser caps...laminations on tips of caps.

1966...model changed to 725/726. White glass, Pistol grip with thumb rest Solid Brazilian Rosewood handle with contrasting strips of white holly; 5 laminations on back with one going down the length of the window; 5 laminations on front on heel of handle.

I don't have any information for 1967 and 68, and there were no Palomino bows after 1968.

You used to be able to download a list of all of their bows from about 1935 forward. They didn't start to name their bows until 1958. Here's a link to what they share on their website.

It's amazing the information you can find on the web. All you have to do is look for it.

Way to go George. Fastest ID ever! With no pic no less.

It doesn`t matter if there is a "list" or not...it still takes a encyclopedic mind of bows to even to warm the question up. Damn that was impressive.

I may have a stumper for you later George.

That site George got the info from has helped me figure out Pearson dating over the years.

Unfortunately they are missing the 1960 catalogue.
