Hey Parson- How long is your bow? I have some extra strings you can have... I have strings that I made for bows that I don't have any more! 56", 58", 60", and 64" some are B55 and others are FF. Let me know and I`ll send ya some. No charge Bro!

On a 20# youth bow you could use mason cord or other material, just make it fit. As a training bow you don't need a $25.00 string.

Check out Barry Hughes aka "stilldub" here on the 'Wall at his eBay store. Great strings, SUPER-cheap Dacron strings, great service, and most of all, great advice as far as what you'll need for the intents and purposes you're after.

Gotta agree with George on this one. Some nylon cord for construction lines would be enough for a little 20 pound bow. I love SBD strings but talk about overkill.
