I'm considering having this done instead of refinishing it. Has anyone had this done? How'd it turn out? Is it durable? Do you still need to strip it first? Can anyone recommend someone that is reasonable and does a good job? Pics would be great. Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, I had a set of limbs done a few months back by a local guy and they seem to be holding up well. I know a few guys on here have sent theirs in to a guy that was recommended by some on here and were happy with the results I believe. I can't remember the name of the company at the moment though. Hopefully one of the others will chime in.

I think Sipsey River used to flock B-Mag handles a while back, so maybe he could advise. God and Christ Bless

I had a B Mag riser done . It came out great . Don’t own it any more but traded it on here to someone i can’t remember who that was at the moment. I posted pics of it in here after it was done . It looked really cool. I did it in a wood grain. Maybe you can find it on here in the archive. Probably last year or around that.

R A Hoffer is reasonable and quick so I hear. They could tell you if it needs stripped.

Might consider resale before you have it dipped. Dipping is relatively expensive, and likely you won't get your money back out of it. I'm probably in the minority, but I wouldn't buy a bow or limbs that's been dipped. Don't particularly like the way they look, but more importantly, can't tell what's underneath.

https://www.rahoffer.com/ Randy recently did a bow for me, his work is excellent and his turn around time very short.

Used RA Hoffer. He is the best! Quality work, not expensive and fast turn around time. I was very happy with his work on a Buffalo riser!!

RA Hoffer in Blair WI. Go to their website. Very easy, decent prices and exceptionally fast service. He's done a Mag handle for me, several pairs of limbs and a nylon .22. Great job on all of them.

Thanks for all the responses so far, guys. I appreciate it. RA Hoffer looks promising.

Stagetek, when you sent your Mag handle, did you remove all the hardware first? Do you know if they stripped off old paint first or just dipped it as is?
