Well I got both bows limbs cut on the tablesaw 1/16 out from my line. Sanded to my line on my edge grinder. String grooves filed in. None of this is permanent still have room to work them down. The maple limb bow, as I suspected is stiffer. The Osage is about 8 pounds lighter as I suspected. Both of these bows are the same width at the fade- out same thickness in the stack only thing that changed is the wood between the glass. I'll try and post pictures later when I can get them to post. JF I'll still be able to make them both the same poundage but one's going to be a tad bit wider at the fade-outs. Nice good experiment compare to different limb woods. Right now the maple is 59 lb the Osage is 51 and they're going to end up at 42# about 1.100 wide at the fade- outs and half inch wide at the tips.
