I read somewhere that there is a device that allows you to look at your pics off of your iPhone.,anyone know what that may be?

Yes. Moultrie makes one and they sell another type like it at Walmart. I have owned 3 of them this year and all 3 have worked great but then broke. There are wires and stuff and it’s an electronic device. You CANNOT pull it out of your phone by the wire. Did that about a month in with the first one. Got another and then another after that. After 3rd one broke I gave up. I have a wild game viewer but you can’t pull the pics off the card so you can only look . I am going to start take by my laptop in a backpack and checking the cameras and saving the good pics that way. Kinda a pain. But the moultrie iPhone card reader was gr at when it worked. It was nice to just save it to your phone. Good luck

Ive had several-they didnt break at the cord but occasionally you have to force close the app or uninstall/reinstall.They are pretty inexpensive ~$15 maybe.I stay away from anything wildgame innovations or moultrie brand from past experience but thats imo.

I would remove SD card from trail cam and swap it into my Canon Sure Shot camera to view. Then swap back to trail camera.

Like raghorn I pull the card and swap it with my camera card. I'll take a quick look in the field but like to download the pics to my computer to enlarge them for detail.

Wife got my reader from Amazon. 3” cord that plugs into the I-Phone with the card reader on the end. Been using it 3 years no problems.

My son uses two cards. When he goes out to grab one he replaces it with the other. The fresh one is brought home and he views them on our PC. He loves his cameras and anything he captures on them, he just loves all animals.

Why not just stick the chip in your camera in your pocket. Not the game camera but your photo camera. Usually when I go to my stand I'll swap out chips and while sitting in stand I'll look through pictures.

My buddy swaps out his cards and looks on the lap top. Either way it all takes time.

I got an old laptop from work (was going to be recycled). Bring that on every trip, strictly for viewing the pix.

Got mine at sportsmans warehouse $10. For the smartphone. Going on three years no problems.

I swap out chips as said above, then view at home. Not always convenient but I'd rather not dawdle at my camera sites anyway.

I have used all kinds of devices from phone attachments, looking at them with the camera, to a portable SD reader. I have 2 cards for every camera. I try and get in and out quickly. It's like Christmas every time, not knowing what you are going to get. Sure is better than the old 35mm motion cameras. HA!

The best thing about the smart phone reader is you can save the image to your phone-easy to share.

Want to view them in the field. I like the camera idea

I've used my older digital Pentax camera for viewing also, but when I went to put card back into game camera, it said it was now formatted wrong and would not read it/write anything onto it. Maybe newer cameras wont have that problem, just beware mine did and if you have an older camera, it might too.

I have a Stealth Cam Card Reader that works with most smart phones. They cost $12.99 at many stores including Cabela's. Just be careful to write disable the memory card before inserting it into the card reader so it doesn't attempt to write to your card and ruin photos or videos. After viewing on your phone, remove the card from the card reader and re-enable writing to your memory card before returning it to a camera. In the photo you will notice a small slider on the left side of the memory card. Slide it up to enable writing and down for disable writing to the card.

The game camera should be able to re-format the card through its menu.

I carry extra cards, swap them out and view with my camera. But I seldom save pics and when I do I use the lap top.

So you can’t just bring up the camera on you Mobile device like an app? Or have the camera share the pics to your phone or IPad?

I would just buy the Moultrie viewer it works fine for me.

I had a Moultrie then a Wildgame card viewer both cost ~$100 and lasted one season.I also wore out a digital camera reading cards. The smart phone card reader seems to be the answer for me at least.I have 8-9 cameras and with hogs you might get 300 pictures in a night.

I’ve got a card reader that I use to download images from my DSLR to my laptop. With an adapter, I can plug it into my iPad and download them to it as well. It wouldn’t work with my iPhone 5 but works on my newer 6s and my 7 work phone. Apple sells an SD reader that plugs right in to phone or iPad. Both my DSLR’s use Compact flash cards instead of SD so I needed a universal reader. Should work fine for viewing pics from a game cam as well.

I use my Coolpix camera.

I've used my Garmin auto GPS in the photo mode. That is, remove the SD card from the camera and put it in the GPS.

I do as above ,just switch out the cards ,and view them on the PC

Babysaph, I have 1 I believe it is called view the bone or boneviewer or something that is for an iPhone. I don't have an iPhone any more. I'll dig it out, if it works for you and you want to cover shipping it's yours.
