Anybody own a Chama Chair? I’m considering getting one to replace my Double Bull chair, bucket and several other chairs/stools. None of my current stools are high enough and my knees hurt after about an hour.

If it's the one I'm thinking of it is comfortable, a bit heavy to carry around.

I find the triangular chairs start to cut into the bottom of the thighs after a while, uncomfortable. I've tried a lot of chairs and now and into the future will be using a Millennial 100--best chair I have used.

Chama looks like a fine chair. Similar to my Huntmores. I guess depending on the size of your thighs. I'm 6"1 right around 200# and I can sit comfortably for 6-8 hrs or more if necessary.

I love my waldrup packseat. It is very comfy, very light, sets up anywhere, and seconds as a frame pack rated for 150#. Add a day pack and you are set. $250, but made one at a time and so comfy and versatal is only drawback is you might fall asleep on stand.

Millennium seats are the most comfortable I've ever sat in. That said they're a little low to the ground. If I could get mine about 3 inches higher it would be perfect.
The Chama looks higher and might be what your looking for.

A friend of mine with a Millennial chair added some stainless tubing to his legs to give him more height. He's a tinker....find something good and make it better for him.
