Just fixed the tips on a blackhawk short bee.Gave a 50lb ben pearson special for it on an even swap.Knocks were cut in so deep on that bow that it was scary.Looked it over close, and it had a hair line crack on top limb tip.So i did the standard for me, and put tip overlays of phenolic on it.Also ff string 10 strands.Shoots great now.glad i caught when i did,or it could have been a bad ending to a nice bow.Inspect your tips guys on your recurves bows as i have had to fix others as well.

No way! The limb was cracked!? I traded my black hawk to bassman for the Ben Pearson. Thanks again Bob, this bow is fast and I shoot it well! I shot it so much since Friday my arm hurts! haha Glad the short bee is shooting well!

Yes Matt it had a horizontal crack at the knock, but the tip overlays took care of it,and the bow shoots great for me now, not crazy about the handle , but getting used to it.When you return arrows i will let you shoot it.Glad you like your Pearson. It is a real hummer at your draw with a ff string. It all worked out for both of us.Keep em flying friend. Bob.
