Went to a 3-D shoot today. 1st shot was at a standing bear at 28 yrds. I got the 10 ring! 1st 1/2 of the course went good. 2nd 1/2 went bad. Nice morning for shooting. Sorry, i didn't take any pics. Using my 51# Yellowstone Hunter with Herritage 150s with 200gr points.

Ronnie, I think you’re shooting great. I know for me I just have to think back how wild I was when I first started 8 years ago. I was afraid to get very far from the target for fear of missing it. Reflecting back helps me to be happy with where I’m at today. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to get better, but I won’t let it consume me. (I hope.) Frustration can bring about discouragement which takes the fun out of shooting. Besides, missing a shot keeps me humble.

Matt speaking about missing a shot, I shot three arrows at 15 yards, one straight on, one quartering left, and one quartering right. Not great, but everyone has those days, you can't shoot perfect everyday, when you are old enough to remember you used ink wells in school because the ballpoint pen wasn't invented yet...Ha!Ha! True story,

I have a certificate for being one of the few children to receive an experimental polio vaccine in 1954, I lived so they gave everyone a shot in 1955. I was a ginny pig. I am listed as a polio pioneer. Sorry just babbling again.

My FS for today was sitting on a bucket at 18 yards. Good elevation but off on the windage.

Good shooting, gang. I was thinking about my youngest who is working in DC at her first real job. She has hardly shot her bow in the last couple years as she finished college, packed her stuff into her little Toyota and headed to the big city. So I found her 1962 Browning Diana at the top of the rack and let the bow do its thing from 22 yards.
