Good for you Dan, take it easy in this heat, I had a mild heat stroke last week, didn't have a problem until I came inside and drank some cold water, drink not chilled water to cool down first it won't be such a shock on your system.

I was lucky didn't have to go to the hospital, but it scared the heck out of me.

If you are alone be extra careful.

Thanks Dan for all you do.

Good advice above. Take 'er easy Dan. Plenty of water and wear one of your great hats in the sun.

Don't over do it. I have some meds that keep me from being in the heat, thank the lord for an air conditioned plant.

You know your own body so just do what you can, when you can. Your ambition to make new things out of old things inspires a lot of us.

My father-in-law drank hot water all day long for all his adult life and swore by it! He lived to 93 when cancer finally got him. Lance

I learned to hydrate before I go out in the heat. It helps. I drink a quart of water on the way to the range. I am also real careful about bending over then getting up to quick. You take care now.

You had a stroke and didn't go to the hospital?

J.R.

Yes, I am old and hard headed, Ha!Ha!

I have had one before from the heat, if you cool down and get some liquid in to you slowly to get your core cooled down you will be alright, if you go into convulsions then you need medical attention

I was very sick for a while, but came out of it.
