I have been looking for a few years for a Left Handed 1950 Ben Pearson Palomino. I have a Right Handed one and it is a great bow.

I finally gave up hope and realized that the only if not the fastest way for me to have this bow is to just build one!

I couldn't copy the complicated laminations in the riser, so I made a version that would hopefully pay tribute to it.

Came out pretty darn good. Here it is next to my 1958 Palomino.

Took it out and shot a 3D Course this weekend and had a blast.

Looks a lot like the original. Years from now someone will post a pic of it on the Leatherwall titled, ID this bow for me!

Very nice. I'm getting ready to do the same thing with an old bow I can't replace.

Yes I did add tip protection. Just in case if I ever wanted to try a Fast Flight string on it.

I just picked up a 45# really pretty Palomino at a sale. Not a mark on it, could not pass up the wood colors.
