If it’s been a couple of days and not heard from first response then I would send him a message and see if he is still interested. If no response back then move onto second. Anytime I have done a trade myself and the person I’m trading with have always stayed in touch with one another. Only one time did a person not stay in touch with me and when he finally did get back with me 4 days later he had changed his mind but didn’t bother to let me know.

Was the response an inquiry or a deal made? A deal isn't made then you take the first deal you like, unless you agree to give that individual time for whatever reason.

It's completely your call.

I had a trade going on another site. The guy was answering emails to the tune of three or four times a day as we negotiated and verified condition. As soon as we worked out the details he fell of the face of the Earth. I tried getting a hold of him to finalize and nothing.

I tried to contact him for about four days with zero response. After that I gave it a week in case something happened.

I offered it back up for trade after still no response. The day after I offer it up he jumps on the public page and starts screaming at me for being a bad trader and all but stalking him.

Do what works for you

I have always answered PM’s and dismayed by those who do not respond. We are adults and can take NO and things have changed in stride. Courtesy! Respond to fellow wallers
