I have just acquired a vintage Damon Howatt Hunter. I would like some help determining when it was made and what type of wood it is made of. The serial number is HHS 5654L-62". The decal below the serial number is a drawn bow with dh and DAMON HOWATT on either side of the arrow. A decal below that says HUNTER. I will try to add photos. Thanks! I can only add one photo at a time.

That's a 1964 Hunter...and a very pretty one. I think this is the graphic summary of the serial number analysis that Pdiddly and Cueman worked out; it's worth reprinting it from time to time.

1964 was the last year they made the all rosewood riser...it's a nice model.
