Haven't seen any Bob Lee's bows on the classify nor discussion. Had a Dark Archer a few years ago and sold it do to # reduction from rotators surgeries. It was one of my fine hunting bow, even use it for a city bowhunting qualification to get a permit, the qualifier couldn't get over the performance and quietness nor accuracy from 20 yrds shooting a pie plate 5 shot placement requirement. Just curious how many are shooting Bob Lee's bows. Always like the double limb bolt on the bow.

Took the IBO N.E.Championship STRD class last year with my Bob Lee 3-piece TD longbow.

I have three Bob Lee bows and love each and every one of them. They are built not too terribly far from my house by good people. Well made, beautiful, quiet and they get the job done. I agree you rarely see many in the classifieds. I think most folks that have one see no reason to get rid of them. I have one favorite but I still shoot the others from time to time.

I just bought a used one this winter. I shot it for the first time at a indoor 3D shoot, no warm up; my score was probably one of the best ever.the bow is draws smooth, and it shoots where I point it. My first custom bow was a Bob Lee, I purchased it in 2001. I sold it thinking there is a better bow; but I was wrong. Wished I never would have sold the first one. I think it is one of better bows being made today.

Just traded a chinook for a bob lee today. Ive only strung it and drew it back but i love how smooth it is and the grip is amazing.

Hunt at times with my Bob Lee Bi-Centennial stick , great bow.

If you want a 3 piece then fine but they quit making their nice one piece years back.

Bought a used Bi-Cenntenial a few years ago. It's my favorite bow.

Their 'retro' looking bows with the black and white layers are some of the handsomest bows I've seen. The only BL I've handled was gorgeous and fit my hand really well.

Bob -was- Wing Archery and those bows are classics for good reason.

I'm not much of a collector but having a BL bow in my stable is a goal. You don't see many in the classifieds. Nuff said!

I bought their Darkhart recurve this year. Love that thing! It feels ten pounds lighter than it is. Smooth, fast, and quiet. They darn sure don’t give em away but I think they are worth it. I shot a tournament with 76aggie on here and was very impressed with his bob lee so I bought one. Thanks Chuck.

Back in the day the red wing hunter was one heck of a good bow.you could buy it for about 2thirds the price of a bear bow back then, and for speed and smoothness it was great.have one right now with 10 string ff string on it that is a real hummer.never owned a new one but they would ooze quality, great then better now maybe.

Purchased an ultimate used a month ago. Extremely impressed with it .i also happened to be in East in late May and stopped by their archery shop. Rob came out from the shop and spent some time visiting with my wife and I. Will not find a nicer guy. Saw all of his dad's earlier bows on display.

I've had both types--lots of the pre-1968 Wing bows, and a 3-pc. "Exotic" made a few years ago. I actually think the old-timers, like the 60" White Wing and the 62" Swift Wing, might be a little bit faster...but the new ones are very, very smooth and beautiful to look at as well. And I will second how nice it is to interact with Rob and JJ.

Just got a Darkheart this year and love the bow! Worked with JJ and was extremely pleased with the service. Their customer service is always praised but experiencing it first hand was remarkable.

Bob lee bows are some of the best, I see more in the classifieds than you would think and used ones are priced reasonable.. my only wish is that they would make them in higher poundage.. my first recurve was a boblee signature and I still have it!!

Always liked bob Lee bows.I don’t care for the wide tips there doing now, looks like the old Pearson recurves.

I just sent my 2001 Stick back to the Lee's for a weight reduction. J.J. told me it would look as good as when it was new 17 years ago and he was right. They did a marvelous job in three weeks turnaround. I highly recommend it if you are thinking of having it done.

My wife has two, and I have two. We love them.

My girlfriend shoots a Wing Gull (REAL Bob Lee), her best archery woman friend shoots a Groves Spitfire (Harold's son). Hard to beat.

I have a Partners Bow 60", 56# @ 28 that I purchased from Mike Palmer in the late 80's when he and Bob Lee were partners making bows. The partnership broke up in July 91 and Bob Lee took over the company. Smoothest bow I have ever shot.

Sold a couple of bows and order the Abyss, going back to black this fall and looking forward to it.

I ordered a Abyss, for me they are the best.

I wish they still made their 54" one piece recurve. I still have their one piece longbow. It is easy to shoot; speed is average.

I bought a Thunderbolt about a month ago. It is one of the easiest bows to pick up and just start shooting well. I love the grip on this one and I'm having a new bow built with a grip to match this one. Someday I'll find a three piece.
