Will a tab not sized right for you cause shooting issues ? Thanks

Lots of them. But all you have to do is trim it. You can get used to it, but you can get used to anything.

If you are switching from a glove to a tab, it will be different.

It can. Tab sizes are for width NOT length. The tab when on your finger(s) should not project above the index finger or below the ring finger. Then when properly trimmed for length (out towards the finger tips) should come to 1/4 to 3/8 Inch SHORT of the finger tips when the fingers are hooked on the string.

Arne, Am I missing something? " should not project above the index finger or below the ring finger." Since my index finger is shorter than my ring finger, that's a short tab. Really short. If it's not above my index finger it HAS to be below the ring.

I surely do agree with the 1/4 to 3/8. My Barbe might even be a tad longer.

If they are too long, can trim with scissors.

No more than they cost ($15 to 50), I will often trim them just to experiment till I get what I like. Will sometimes buy two and sometimes in several sizes. However when I get one to feel just right, I keep it for many years. I use baby powder with mine to keep'em slick.
