A group of buddies and I live in Massachusetts and are planning on heading out of state to whitetail hunt during archery season. Looking for recommendations on ranches, private land type setting with lodging and a high population of shootable deer. Not interested in spending 8 grand, otherwise I'll go for elk or mule deer. Anywhere from the northeast to the mid USA would be in our reach. Thanks for any info and help! -Ryan

In Virginia. Fairfax-Prince William & Loudon county's have 8 months Sept to April deer season with no daily bag limit. Not sure who to advise you to contact but if you want to kill some does it's worth looking into...Sept & 2nd week of Jan till end of April are anterless only

I shouldn’t post without knowing the full jist of it but my friend lives in Oklahoma, she told me some areas had plenty of deer and some areas on at least some days were trad only. That’s pretty cool and something I might look into if I was looking to go on an adventure out of state.

TR, if I were you I'd want to go to IA, IL, or KS, but if you want to do that you're out of luck this year - they're draws.
MO, MN, SD, and ND are OTC along with WI which has the best county in the world for whitetails.
If it was me, I wouldn't pick WI, because it wouldn't be an out of state hunt for me and I hunt in that county. Sorry I don't know what those hunts go for. I could find an outfitters name.
