You guys are off to a good start this weekend. I shot a little right/forward today. 12 yrds quartering away between obstructions with bow canted more than normal. I changed my 200gr.points to 175gr points. Shot stiffer than the 200gr.points. They fly good out of the Yellowstone Hunter. 1st pic is the shot. 2nd pic is the result.

Wow Scott! Looks like a longbow day to me. Did you glue the blue cap to the arrow before you shot? Lance

Very good shooting today especially Scot’s 20 yard bottlecap!

I shot elevated 10’ at a 16 yard broadside target. I liked the result but 1” left would be less shoulder. Shooting a Black Canyon 62”-49# LB with Easton Legacy arrow 2117 and. 175 grain FP.

shot my very first shot since 2 weeks ago today at 25yds.... and you guessed it, missed completely by hitting below the target. it was in good vertical line though :)

my dog is doing good after knee surgery. still not allowed to jump or run... pretty much can't get excited.

which is why I haven't been shooting.

....he gets REALLY joyful when I have bow and arrow in my hands. actually, if I touch an arrow and if it makes any noise, he knows I'm going out...and in his mind, he gets priority seating to laugh at me.

so I may have to limit my shooting still for next 6 weeks until he is fully recovered.

Thanks for checking in Ted and glad to hear your dog is healing. Funny how dogs react to us for various occasions. You are very kind to give up your passion for a time while your friend heals.

thanks Matt, today my wife kept him occupied, so I could sneak out. not going to happen too much, but I'll take little that I can.

Great shootin' above and thanks Chad, been shootin' left handed this morning; 1st&2nd shots missed the whole target, then got on the target 6 shots in a row . Built a rest on the wrong side (;^) of the handle of my practice fbrgls. reflexed tip longbow. It's 35#@28" so good to start my new quest with. Did a walkback, these were my 9,10&11th left handed shots. I'm gettin' there, and not too bad I think. Fun new challenge! Y'all have a great Sunday and take care!

I shot a 17 yard sitting turkey shot today. I was 1/4” away from a jugular but 1-1/2” left of my POA.

Great shooting 9/10’s. My neighbors already think I’m crazy. I’m sure the police would visit if I was out at night with a headlamp and my bow! We do have raccoons so maybe I should give it a try.

Mountain man our squirrels have to be armored to handle this terrain and the gators.

9/10 great shot, I did one of those not too long ago and man are they nasty, I used my fish arrow and it went clear through, he went about eight feet.

I still haven't had the nerve to touch that arrow even after I disinfected it and everything.....Ha!Ha!

Ted, you need to get your dog some ear plugs or turn the stereo up....Ha!Ha!
