I put a Jakes beard on a self bow Pearl made me and it turned out okay. I shot this Jake a few years ago and it had a tan and black beard. I put it on another self bow.

Just got her retillered to a lighter weight. Got it shooting good out to 15 yards.

Think that’s caused by a defiency. Can’t remember what I was told. Ones I’ve seen tended to be thin and brittle

Sure like the idea. Maybe next time I back a selfbow with turkey skin or feathers I'll add that accent. John
