Does anyone know if you can get Ballistic collars for Beman CenterShot shafts that allow you to use a 5/16th point ?? Thanks Gents.

I want to make the transition to the micro shaft, but I don't want to have to junk all my existing points because of it.

I see the Gold Tip Classic XT's allow you to shoot a 5/16 tip because of it's tapered collar, but they are on the pricey side. Thanks Allan

Beman Centershots aren’t considered a micro diameter shaft. Most micro diameter shafts are roughly .106 diameter and require the use of outserts. You can put collars on Bemans though, several guys do.

Buglmin, I think your number is off a bit. I’ve never used these arrows, but that size must be way off.

The centershots are 9/32" shafts and won't take the same collar as anything else. I would look at your points though. If they are PDP points, they may have a taper at the back where it meets the insert. This makes the removal of the shaft from targets easier when using less than 5/16" shafts.

All EZ pull points 200g and above are this way as well. Even some of the 175's are too.

If you try the centershots, your going to like them. Very durable, consistant and look good too. They are the best value in wood grain shafts now at $69.99 per doz... at BigJims anyway.

X2 what Big Jim said. Micro diameter are usually .176 or.177 ID and usually .210+ OD depending on the deflection size.

Agree with Big Jim re field points. And, for broadheads, I rather like the idea that the arrow shaft is inlet a little into and is surrounded by the broadhead ferrule. Makes for a strong connection, I think.

We have a chart for what size point/nock collars will fit Beman CenterShot arrows by spine.

The Easton B.A.R. (broadhead adapter rings) should work too. Need to know your spine to tell you what size, either #6 or #7 size, but depends on which spine you have/want. You can find them here: https://www.3riversarchery.com/easton-broadhead-adapter-rings.html

If you give us a call or email we can get you set up.
