Golf carts are too slow and quiet, and they get stuck easily. Get yourself a souped up wheeler or trail bike, the kind the motocross folks ride. Ye haw.

Great minds think alike. Just this morning while covering the better half of 5 miles at a 3D shoot I mentioned to my friends about paving the paths. That is so we could use golf carts like they have over on the trap and skeet range. After all the wheel bow guys all carry stools these days. They an’it old guys either, I got socks older than most of them.

Around here, guys buy a used 48volt electric. Lift it and put tires and wheels on it. The lift kit is around $150. Tires and wheels around $400. A good set of batteries will run around 700 to 800 dollars. They last about 5 years if well maintained. Any name brand cart is good. Mine is an EZ Go. Club Car is another. Used in decent shape can be had for around $2000. I love mine. They will go where an ATV will go if you get the right tires.

I hope the naysayers never have hip or joint problems. I know several fine folks that couldn't hunt at all unless they had some type of motorized equipment to get them to the blind.
as far as what brand, I wouldn't worry so much as brand but has powerful enough motor and gearing for the terrain, good ground clearance and good set of tires.

Club Car is a decent one. We got a basic used one for around $2200 years ago and it's held up great. That's with 2 teenage daughters and their friends driving it all over every summer. They're fun on the trails near camp, I've used it to cruise around and look for crossings then scouted on foot. Saves your energy for the fun stuff ;)

Like Pearlie said, if you are sensible, an electric golf cart can be really handy. A friend of mine hunts off of his. It gets you into the woods quietly and will go pretty good - some mud... some hills... It won’t go everywhere my ranger will, but it cost a third as much and it doesn’t scare the critters near as bad. It just depends on your needs. Machines aren’t taboo for me. If I am fishing the rigs out in the gulf, I go in a boat rather than swim... If I plan to hunt more than a mile from the house I am going to ride in something. I don’t mow my yard with a sling blade... I hunt with a bow to enjoy myself - not be the star of the next American Ninja show.

Golf carts are not trad, you have to have a 26" bicycle with wheel Barrow wheels and an old Harley engine installed with straight pipes because you want to alert everyone you are coming so no one accidently steps out in front of you.
This was similar to what I built when I was 15 so I know it's trad.

Son uses ours to get to the edge of the property and walks into the swamp to his stand. Saves time and sweat. Again, no noise or gas fumes.
One night my brother was sitting around the camp fire after dark and all of a sudden we heard in a loud voice,"can I play thru" as he pulled up to the fire. Startled the crap out of me but it was fnny.

Golf carts are great for 'cruisin' for babes, but i prefer Red Wings for hunting. to bad I don't golf. A few years back the game warden offered me and my wife a permit to ride a four wheeler on public land with a gait key. I told him, that i would keep it in mind, but I was not ready yet.

I knew an old timer who had one hip and both knees replaced over a couple short years...he found a golf course that went under and picked up a used Ez Go...he replaced the batteries and tires and it served him well getting back and forth to his stand for a couple seasons until his strength and mobility came back

I'd think about a 4x4 cart but I'd prob. roll it or crash it or do something stupid like get cut somehow and bleed out.
I probably would be smart if I got help I fallen and can't get up beacon. But if the bush I might not want them to know where I am and get my spots.LOL
Or steel my game like Frisky might do if he seen I had a critter winched across deck. LOL
Easier each day? What day might that be coming Iz waiting on that day to hurry up.LOL

Being in the golf industry, golf carts are very limited over terrain, but could get you to an exit point to go into the woods by foot very quietly. Gas golf carts are better than electric for reliability on hills, and many small golf courses where terrain is a factor have gone to gas. Gas carts also cost less to operate as charging a bank of batteries can get pricey. Batteries are also real expensive and you need a good place with air circulation to charge electric carts.
We see deer and lots of wildlife when driving across the golf courses almost everywhere and they don't seem scared of a gas engines from equipment or gas carts as much as from the noise of foot traffic. Think golf carts are at a big disadvantage over small ATV's, especially one with tall tires and a winch.
To keep quiet when walking in the woods, I used to use soft leather soled hand sewn moccasins a fellow made for me who was listed in Fur Fish and Game (long ago). They allow you to be so quiet, you could sneak up on a cat. Those type of moccasins where a you send in a traced pattern of your feet are still avaialble as soft soled pac mocs, but they are much fancier now and real expensive. With some Pac Mocs and two pony-shanks (legs), your better off than riding a golf cart.
