I'm excited about how this Black Locust looks.

Just to the left of the split on the locust looks perfect. Do you cut billets or use it as a one piece?

Do you have to chase the rings on this wood?

Jon, you have to on locust. Hackberry is best to cut when the sap is up and the bark peels off. A ring can be chased, but its no fun.
