Not my first shots,as I was doing some tuning on the old Grizz earlier this morning but now she's tuned just the way l like it! I really mixed it up today. Orange was 25 standing, left was 15 sitting on a bucket in preparation for hunting thunder chickens and right was 10 yards sitting flat on my butt in the grass. Sitting in the grass was a fun challenge.....but getting up on arthritic knee's was a bigger challenge :0) Everyone have a great evening!

I did one shot, 18yds, elevated and a slight quartering away angle. Shooting my trusty '68 Bear K-mag and a 2016. Have a good day everyone! Lance

Nice shootin' guys!

Nothing fancy for me today. I shot one at 25 yards standing and hit a little low and right. Think I'll go shoot a few more.

Thanks Chad, have a good one everybody.

You guys are hard on the deer today! Nice shooting! 19yrds between obstructions with my 51# Yellowstone Hunter with Herritage 150s. 1st 2 arrows went under his butt and under the log. Arrows were beside each other. At least I was consistent with my missing. :^) 3rd shot got him. 1st pic is the shot. 2nd pic is the hit.

I have to thin the herd and the choices are hard! I spent 4 years hunting for a Clan Gordon Custom Deluxe, described in the catalog but never seen. So I was pretty excited when this bow popped up on the 'bay, made in 1961 at the time Gordon was in the hunt to become Brownings new archery division and they were coming up with some real lookers to impress the Browning folks. It must have worked as Gordon Plastics started making bows under the Browning label in 1962 and Browning bought the entire bowmaking division in 1963. I love the crazy parrot green fiberglass and the Brazilian rosewood. But I have too many left-handed fancy bows and I'm letting this sweetheart go on a good note, shooting my first shots yesterday with my Dad's aluminum 4-fletched target arrows from the same era.

I took an 18 yard broadside shot with my blue stripe greenie Kodiak Hunter,60" and 50#. I'm trying to see if I like the 12oz stabilizer or not, so I'll shoot a couple of days with it and then a couple without it and let you know on the FS thread. Have a good rest of your day. Lance

Finally stopped raining but still drizzling. Wanted to get in a few before dark. Not too good today, fs was right, took the third shot before I hit the bottle and that was low. Hope all have had a great weekend.
