68 or 69 Super Kodiak. They were identical both years.

Yep... 68 or 69... And it would be a 60" or a 64"... Bear didn't make a 62".

Coins can be misleading, etc. I cant tell from the photo whether the "horns" beyond the thin white stripes are matching black phenolic or dark rosewood, but they look dark brown..1968 or 69.

A lot of people sand papered the finishs on these bows for hunting purposes..That may be why the finish is dull..Best looking bow Bear ever made.

If the numbers are gone, then it was an attempt at refinish. The finish over micarta tended to crack and streak. The new Super Kodiak...so called Black Beauty, is a replica of that model era (68/69). Will make a great shooter for you.
