I got my Death Adder tab in the mail today. Well worth the wait. After about 50 arrows it may prove to be my favorite tab. Very slick, just the right thickness, and well made.

He must have mailed out a batch...got mine today as well. Can’t believe I never tried one before, it’s an awesome slick tab. No more sticky wet leather face hunting in the rain!

Brother Rick is a great Bowman I want to meet someday. He is a craftsman and takes immense pride in his creations.

I have three of his three-under tabs. I keep one with my bows down in my basement range, the other two go hunting with me. I like my tabs a little thicker, so following Rick's advice, I put a piece of fuzzy side velcro between the two layers of the tab. The velcro is cut to the same shape. His tab is by far the best tab I have ever used. They are well made, slick, and not bulky.

I have tried various tabs over the years but always went back to a glove. About 6 months ago I bought one of Ricks tabs. My gloves are now in the drawer. Very well made and comfortable. I get a good release and am quite happy with mine! Steve

Here is a prototype I am working on.

I have to get the templates built to put them into production, and my time is pretty well filled building the models I currently offer, so it'll be a while.

This one was free handed, but turned out just right (after the battle).

The DA3UT (Death Adder 3 Under Traditional)

It's the same shape as the split finger tabs without the arrow notch.

"Death Adder"? How dare you, Rick! You know that names like "Dirtnap, Bloodsport, Wac`Em" aint politically correct enough for the righteous Trad members. Death Adder is gonna catch you some flak from the old geezers and chest-pounders here. Death Adder? Hey....I LIKE IT! May have to try a tab again sometime, especially with a name like that one. Sure looks nice.

Rick: I prefer the profile of your new prototype better than the round profile of your current 3 under tab. Please put my tab order on hold until you get this one into production. I will follow up with an email to you. Thank you. Michael

LOL Darrin.

I named them Death Adder Tabs after the (snake with the fastest strike in the world) from the get go.

Why? Because these tabs have a fast/slick strike, and are very quiet. 8^)

I got my template made for the large size. I really like the way this one turned out. Right hand large. 1/8" string walking stitching.

I am going to order one also. My fingers are close to 2 1/2 inchs across. Do you recommend a large for split finger.
