I got nine of these GT traditionals as part of a really good trade, and they shoot well enough, I guess, but I’ve been having a problem with the nocks breaking on me.

Can anyone tell me what I should look for as replacements?

Stupid auto-incorrect!!!

I think that is the inside of a lighted nock. See if it pulls out. Never seen anything like that for a glue on or push in nock.

It's an insert for a pin nock. It will save you mushroomed shafts by glancing out hits rather than ruining an arrow.

Oh...I actually replied with a "pin nock" then deleted it as I figured you were wondering what type of pin nock was best!

They have them at most of the sponsors shops.

Guess I need to get of the cave more often. Never seen them before.

I shoot nothing but pin nocks. GF, i prefer the bohning blazer pin nocks. They have small and large throat depending on your string size. They can be rather pricey, i normally catch good deals on ebay, otherwise they can run .60-1.00 a piece pending your poison. What nocks do you normally shoot? Keep that in mind while picking pin nock throat size. Sized properly to your string you'll never go back to regular nocks. Theyve saved me alot of money in busted arrows since George Stout reccomended these for my use.

1 other thing, if you have a problem getting the nock on the pin, run the pin against your nose or forehead. Your skins natural oils will lubricate the pin. Need any help pm me.

So it’s kind of an Industry Standard, then?

I thought about adding some to my last order and then realized that I had no idea what I was looking for...

I don't like shooting groups, but sometimes you need, or have to.

I'm going to go to pin nocks on all my arrows.

They are expensive, but saving just one arrow would pay for a bunch of them.

I destroyed 4 arrows just this week from hitting the tail end of them.

Yes, Pin Nocks too prevent Robin Hoods and damaged arrows. Often used by the pros and a few excellent shots here.>>>---->Ken

Just so long as nobody thinks I’m getting a swelled head ;)

Funny thing about these GTs.... I’m sure they’ve gotta be too stiff, but they sure do fly straight & settled.

Sure does make sense to bust a nock rather than wreck a shaft...
