Just got this custom black widow knife in the mail today made by McGinnis. I haven't been able to find much out about it. Does black widow commission these out?

The only thing I can find on some knife forums is that Tom McGinnis makes special edition knives for companies including black widow. If anyone knows anything else that would be helpful!

There is a picture of a Black Widow Cat Skinner Knife in the 1997 catalogue. It was a 6" knife of 440 steel with a Black Widow engraved bone handle.

I have one of the cat skinners.

They are on the cheaper side kit knives

That knife was available in the Black Widow catalog around 2006. I have a couple of them. Perfect size, and well made. Mine serves me well. I'd like to see them offered again.

I have a cat skinner bw knife made by Frost Cutlery.

I have the Cat Skinner also. Cool knife,never have used it though. Just sits in my drawer with my other knives.
