Anyone hunting out of a tree saddle? I picked one up and am planning on hunting out of it exclusively this year to give it a solid try. Found the big saddle hunter site, but was hoping to get some trad perspective on it if anyone is shooting longbow or recurve out of one. Seems like it will be super slick and mobile... Thanks in advance!

Had a friend that set one so much that he developed blood clots in his legs, but part of it may have been other medical issues. They do look pretty slick!

I hunted with John Eberhart for years & the Saddle is the way to go. You can go to deerjohn.com. & get info on the saddle. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have hunted out of a Guido’s Web and a Treesuit and recently bought an Aerohunter Kestral. They have their pros and cons. One of the pros for me is the weight. Compared to a Summit Climber it’s nothing.

I bought one this year as well. Seems like just the ticket to avoid getting my stands stolen, messed with or people hunting right by me with a climber when they see a stand up.
