Now bad thing is I didn't find him until 3 days later and lost all the meat which would feed my family well. I was able to take another during the rifle season so I have meet but this one was healthy and the Roman nose was the first thing I saw when he was quartering in at 7 yards to my left side behind my rootball and small holy tree. He didn't present a shot until he was 12 yards and my hit was a bit back at last rib and about 6" high from belly. I was calm sitting in my huntmore 360 and being that close to him was a dream we all dream of happening. I enjoyed the moments as I watched him come in so slowly and silent. He was just slowly making his way to a Big scrape to my right and it was 10:30 as I just looked at my watch about the time he came in to see what time it was. Anyway sorry for the pictures not being the best but wanted to share it .

Sorry about the graphic pic. of my Reattached hand from a log splitter accident but took this to show about how wide the palmation is. I do shoot right handed and can still draw a bow with my hand and this buck meant a lot to me. One was being on the ground behind the rootball of a Fallen tree, sitting in my Huntmore 360 seat and thanking God I can still shoot with my hand even with limited use of my hand. I also was so calm when he came in and enjoyed just watching him on a beautiful fall Nov.11th morning!

TTT for Mr. Dan.... This is the one that came in at 7 yards to my left side quartering towards me and finally when he was broadside he presented a 12 yard broadside shot.Even though he was coming in at 7 yards he turned and walked towards a holly tree and then turned to his right and walked 12 yards directly in front of me . Those moments that I remember the most was my first glance of his Roman nose before I saw his antlers. He moved very slow as he came in with his head down at first and what a heavy body he had. Just wished I found him that day and not several days later.
