I saw my buddy Jay today at a trade show and came home with this sweet little beauty. I let it sit at the table for 2-1/2 hours and no one else bought it, even with a lot of people were looking at it. Just meant to be. Now I need to make some light wt arrows for it. Thanks for looking. Lance

Super nice Lance, those other people just don't know a good bow when they see it.

Looking forward to shooting photos on the FS

great craftsmanship. Really like the grip and tips. About the right weight for a lot of shooting too.

Nice bow. You'd be kicking yourself if you've let that one get away! :)

Knifeguy that is very nice. Good thing I wasn't there. I love it. On second thought I might not have been able to afford it. Congratulations on your new one. >>>----> Ken

Made by Jay St. Charles. He and his father before him have made fine yew longbows for 8 decades or more, and a few fine yew recurves. It looks like a peach of a longbow. - lbg

Oh Lance! Now you have fallen off the wagon for sure, as I can see no excuse that it was "parts" you were buying and not a bow. It is a beauty, I hope there is room in that new "Bow Closet"?

Beautiful craftsmanship. Surprising that it was still there after 2 1/2 hours. Good luck with it.

Fantastic Bow.. Looks like a great bow found you.

I know nothing about Yew.. read a little about it but that just isn't the same as holding it in your hands and being able to see and feel the wood.

Out of curiosity I got my scale out and the physical weight of this bow is 13.573 oz.! Lance.

Sounds about right, 64-65" ntn? Amazing what power can come from such a lightweight package. That, in my opinion, is the allure of yew.

Beautiful bow! Jay's Pacific Yew Classic makes the short list of my top two favorite longbows. I don't have one of his self bows...yet. I look forward to hearing how it shoots.

Very nice Yew longbow, I spent the day making a string and handle wrapping mine, there's a reason its at the top of the bow woods list.

Nice bow Lance. Passed up a yew selfbow at Cloverdale in the 90's still kicking my ass! LOL
